Valor

The most expensive wall in electronics: design to manufacturing

Valor is a digital twin for PCB manufacturing, providing design for manufacturability analysis, process preparation and shop-floor execution to bridge design and volume production.

Overview

A persistent information wall separates design teams from board fabricators. Designers do not know the limits of the factory’s process capability; the factory discovers unbuildable features only after receiving files, and rounds of clarification and pilot runs consume weeks. Valor turns factory process rules into executable checks that run at design time.

It also covers the factory side: process preparation, panelisation and shop-floor execution, converting engineering data directly into line-ready programs. For companies with both design and manufacturing in-house, the integration pays off most clearly.

Key capabilities

Key capabilities

Manufacturability analysis

Checks designs against real process capability, catching unbuildable features early.

Assembly and test analysis

Assemblability and testability checks that reduce process defects.

Process preparation

Automated panelisation, stencil and program generation.

Shop-floor execution

Manufacturing execution and traceability linking machines and data.

Yield analysis

Defect data collection and yield root-cause analysis.

Design-to-factory integration

Connects design tools and manufacturing execution systems.

What it delivers

What it delivers

  • Design and manufacturing aligned before fabrication, cutting pilot rounds
  • Engineering data becomes line programs automatically, slashing preparation time
  • Traceable defect data gives yield improvement a factual basis
  • Shared rules between design and factory reduce communication overhead
  • Supports the goal of right-first-time production
