Simcenter SCADAS is a modular data acquisition hardware platform, from a handful of portable channels to thousand-channel rig systems, synchronising vibration, noise, strain, temperature and bus signals.

Overview

No analysis software can rescue a bad acquisition chain. SCADAS competes on inter-channel synchronisation and noise immunity. In modal analysis, if channels are out of phase, every identified parameter is wrong; in a vehicle or on a test rig, the signal-to-noise ratio decides whether the data is usable at all.

It is modular, so chassis and cards are configured per project and scale from bench work to full vehicle road testing. The same hardware runs different Testlab application modules, keeping asset utilisation high.
