Simcenter Testlab is the test data acquisition and analysis platform covering NVH, modal, acoustics, fatigue and rotating machinery — linking acquisition, processing and reporting into one flow.

Overview

The value of test software is not drawing waveforms. It is standardising repeated test procedures so that a new engineer following a template produces results comparable with everyone else’s. Testlab ships a large set of templates aligned with industry practice, from modal parameter identification through pass-by noise analysis.

It also compares against simulation in the same environment: measured and simulated frequency responses overlay directly, MAC values compute with one click, and the model updating loop becomes straightforward.
