Overview

The most common source of rework in special-purpose machine building is mechanical and electrical teams designing in isolation. Mechanical moves a mounting hole and the cable tray length does not follow; electrical adds a component that will not fit in the cabinet. Solid Edge Electrical keeps the schematic and the 3D mechanical model in one data source, each visible to the other.

It supports both schematic-driven harness design and routing directly in 3D with wiring data written back, producing the reports and manufacturing outputs your harness supplier or shop floor actually needs.
