Altair formally joined Siemens in 2025. HyperWorks, its simulation, optimisation and data analytics platform, complements Simcenter and extends the reach of Xcelerator in simulation.

Overview

Altair strengthens the Siemens simulation story in several directions: HyperMesh pre-processing has an excellent industry reputation, OptiStruct structural optimisation and Inspire concept design have large installed bases, and PhysicsAI with romAI brings machine-learning reduced-order models and fast prediction.

For companies already holding Altair licences, the practical point is that existing investment is not being discarded — Siemens has committed to continued support and gradual integration.
